Project Dreams: How to Build Mazinger Z's Hangar (2020)

Maeda concern is not known for its avant-garde-isms, but its director of marketing Asegawa moves forward with the plan for a fantasy division. That is a tall order for a construction company known for civil projects like dams. His team is instructed to come up with a plan and fulfill the goal by building a hangar based on the Mazinger Z manga. It is hard work, but their shared purpose propels them forward.

The Vancouver Asahi baseball team consists of 2nd generation Japanese immigrants living in Canada. They play within a local amateur baseball league. The team got popular due to their fair play spirit, while struggling to fight against discrimination and poverty in their everyday lives. Reggie is a 2nd generation Japanese immigrant who works at a sawmill in Vancouver. He is the leader of the team and plays shortstop. Roy is the team's ace pitcher and works at a fishery field. Kaye is the team's 2nd baseman and co-worker of Reggie. Tom is the catcher and works at a tofu shop. Frank works at a hotel and plays baseball with the team.

During the reign of the eighth shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate, the Yunagaya Domain in the Tohoku region is a small han. But at the han, there is a gold mine. Suddenly, Masaatsu Naito of Yunagaya Domain receives an order to perform Sankin-kotai within 5 days. Sankin-kotai is a custom that requires the daimyo to visit the shogun in Edo. Unfortunately, the time needed to visit the shogun in Edo for Masaatsu Naito is 8 days. Masaatsu Naito also learns he received the order because a high ranking government official wants the gold mine. Also, the expense for Sankin-kotai is high and the Yunagaya Domain is such a small han that it seems impossible to complete. Nevertheless, Masaatsu Naito begins an unexpected operation to complete Sankin-kotai in 5 days.

Reiji is ordered to become a "mole," an undercover cop. His target is Shuho Todoroki, the boss of the Sukiyakai gang. The group is the largest crime group in the Kanto area.
