The 40th American Music Awards was held on November 18, 2012 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The awards recognized the most popular artists and albums from the year 2012. It was broadcast live on ABC. This year included a brand new category, Electronic Dance Music. Justin Bieber won all three of his nominations, Nicki Minaj won two and Rihanna won one of their four nominations, while Taylor Swift earned her 11th AMA.

Usher is the reigning King Of R n B with album sales in the multi-millions, hit singles around the world and sold out concerts wherever he goes. This concert was filmed in high definition at London s O2 Arena in the spring of 2011 on Usher s OMG Tour in support of his chart topping Raymond V Raymond album. It s a spectacular show with amazing lighting, incredible staging and stunning pyrotechnics. There are multiple costume changes and brilliant choreography which shed light on the story behind the songs in dramatic and ground breaking ways. Despite the epic scale the charisma and talent of Usher and his music are what dominate the show. He is a supreme entertainer and for those lucky enough to be at this show it is a memory that will stay with them forever.
