Kujira is a contract killer for hire. He makes his targets fall into confusion and eventually commit suicide. Semi is a contract killer who uses a knife to take out his targets.

Samao Daikoku's (Shota Sometani) family register was taken which keeps him from escaping the underground life that he has led. To get away once and for all, Samao Daikoku breaks into Daikichi Ebisu's (Kiyohiko Shibukawa) coin locker to steal gold. Daikichi Ebisu is involved in a criminal organization. In the locker, Samao Daikoku finds a hard disk containing personal information on runaways, homeless people, bankrupt people and prostitutes. He hides the hard disk, but is locked up by Daikichi Ebisu. There, he sees a prostitute, Ami Nanmu (Erina Mizuno) and he also faces an evil gang boss, Kan Senju (Gou Ayano). Samao Daikoku is tortured by the gang boss. The mystery behind Samao Daikoku's past is revealed.

Our Homeland / Kazoku no kuni (2012)

Based on the director's own experience, Our Homeland follows a Korean family living in Japan, of which the father (Masane Tsukayama) decided to take North Korean nationality because of his strong belief decades ago. In 1997, Sonho (Arata Iura), the son of the family who was sent to North Korea under a "repatriation program" with the promise of a "paradise" free of discrimination, returns to Japan for the first time in 25 years to seek treatment for his brain tumor due to the difference in medical technology between the two countries. Allowed to stay for only three months and closely monitored by a North Korean officer (Yang Ik-Joon), Sonho is welcomed and embraced by his family and old friends but his father, who is still sticking to the belief but also feeling guilty about sending his son to North Korea at the same time, while Sonho's younger sister Rie (Sakura Andô) develops the aversion to North Korea and its political ideas.

The residents learn they must evacuate, but the elderly couple owns a farm, with the evacuation line draped across their front yard. The father wants to stay, but the son wants him to go. Meanwhile, the son's wife Izumi (Megumi Kagurazaka) learns she is pregnant.

Nevertheless, Yusaku and Shiro become attached as Yusako trains Shiro to become a guard dog. Sometimes guard dogs are treated as equipement and other times required to become a human shield. Yusaku and female police officer Natsuki (Erika Toda) are against this. A series of explosions then take place…
