Kirin no tsubasa: Gekijouban Shinzanmono / The Wings of the Kirin (2011)

Drama

A man is stabbed in Tokyo's Nihonbashi area. The victim, Takeaki Aoyagi collapses and dies under the winged kirin statues on Nihonbashi Bridge. Former colleague Fuyuki Yashima is seen fleeing the scene, only to be found in a coma after being involved in an accident. On hearing the news, Fuyuki's girlfriend, Kaori Nakahara, insists her partner is innocent of any crime and the case falls to Detective Kyoichiro Kaga. However, for the seasoned police officer this appears no open and shut case as an entangled web of murder and deceit presents itself before him.
