Zlaté kapradí / The Golden Fern (1963)

The grim tales rarely penetrated baladičnost that neústila to happy endings. In this case, however, still black and white material intensifies the tragic tone of the story of betrayed love. According to the draft Jan Drda filmed by director Jiri Weiss film about a simple shepherd who gains the favor of forest fairies – and even from her magical ferns. But the gift of a careless protagonist undervalued carelessly allow to enlist in the army, where he charmed the calculating and selfish general's daughter, so the nymphs forget … The main role will be introduced former actress idol Vit Olmer, who later became director.
