Automotive (2013)
Crime
Automotive is a classic film noir set in present-day LA. The entire movie is seen from inside a car, the hero's 1964 Mercury Montclair. From its limited perspective (camera only inside the car) we piece together his criminal plans as they unravel. The movie begins as Kansas makes a getaway from a crime we never see. Is that a body he's putting in the trunk? He buries it in the desert night under headlights while a beautiful woman watches from the backseat. She is Lonely, his lover and accomplice… or is she? Kansas quickly finds himself in everyone's cross-hairs when Lonely's rich husband is suspiciously murdered. Did Kansas kill him? Or is he being set up? Can he trust the woman he loves?

Mimic 2 (2001)

When a cockroach-spread plague threatened to decimate the child population of New York City in the original Mimic, biologist Susan Tyler and her research associates developed a species of "Judas" bugs and introduced them into the environment, where they were to "mimic" the diseased roaches and infiltrate their grubby habitats. The plan worked until the bugs evolved to mimic their next prey…..humans! Just when they were all thought to be dead, the giant cockroaches are back, and this time they've mutated to take on human form!
