Russian viewers could see footage of him on their television screens: 90-minute reel of film is based on a six-part television program "Wild Russia". Telefilm was made in collaboration with British broadcaster National Geographic, German broadcasters NDR and WDR, the Russian "First Channel" and several other sponsors. A group of German filmmakers headed Jorn Revere (Jörn Röver), a biologist by training, journalist, director and producer, specializing in scientific and popular films about the flora and fauna.
