Mathematician Wang Yong (Guo Tao) and his wife Xue Lian (Zhang Jing Chu) are trying hard to conceive a baby until they need to see different doctors to check the fertility of their sperm and ovum respectively. They even tried yogas, assisted reproductive recipes, and even different sex positions. After unsuccessful first few attempts, eventually Xue Lian manages to get pregnant. Ah Mei (Karen Mok) is travelling with an unidentified lover until they got an accident on an intersection. Both managed to survive. What Ah Mei did not know is that the accident was staged as a motive of revenge by her husband Zhou Yun Shan (Leon Dai), as a method of punishment for his unfaithful wife. At the same time both are trying hard to save their crumbling marriage. Hai Qiao (Bowen Duan) and Jia Xin (Huang Huan) are childhood parachute jumping partners. As an adult Jian Xin is forced to quit parachute jumping due of drug use. As a result of this Hai Qiao is depressed and is changing his own way to persuade her to quit drug taking. She manages to quit and both become parachute jumping partners once again with a new beginning.

A city in Japanese-occupied Manchuria, mid/late 1930s. Impoverished thief and amateur magician Xiao Dongbei (Lei Jiayin), 28, from Taiyuan, is arrested by the police after stealing some money from the collection box of the local priest (Fan Wei). Temporarily imprisoned, he's put in the same cell as Bai Murong (Sun Chun), an anti-Japanese revolutionary who was arrested in a cinema after receiving a message from a fellow revolutionary (Huang Bo). Xiao Dongbei steals his shoes and in them later finds the message: "The gold will arrive on the 10th at Yamato Bank." Xiao Dongbei is then kidnapped by a group of revolutionaries, led by film actress Fang Die (Tao Hong), and forced to reveal the contenst of the message. Fang Die tells him the 8 tons of gold will be used by the Japanese to buy weapons from the Italians, in a deal to be signed by visiting Italian ambassador DeNiro (Jean-Michel Casanovas). The revolutionaries, all working as film-makers, decide to steal it on its way to the bank. Xiao Dongbei is eventually taken on as Fang Die's driver but almost compromises a mission one night when the gang tries to steal the map of the gold convoy from the home of bank president Gu Xianming (Yang Xinming), a Chinese collaborator. Later, Xiao Dongbei redeems himself by getting the map after he by chance saves Gu's daughter, Xixi (Cheng Yuanyuan), during an air raid. As the revolutonaries are all film-makers, they decide to use some movie artifice during the hijacking of the convoy. They successfully make off with the gold, but Japanese security chief Toriyama Konosuke (Yamazaki Keiichi) is hot on their trail after Xiao Dongbei's greed gets the best of him.

Million Dollar Crocodile / Bai wan ju e (2012)

Xiao Xing, a general little boy lives in little town, Mei Jia Wu, is his in grade four. He has a best friend named Amao, who is an eight-meters long crocodile. They get alone with each other, peacefully.
Many years, Amao has been living in a local crocodile farm ran by tough Bald Liu who caught Amao from Thailand. But this year, Bald Liu has to sell all the crocodiles cause the poor management. Unfortunately, the notorious tricky businessman Zhao Da Zui bought them all for developing a series crocodile meals. When the crocodiles are going to be killed by slaughters, Amao pulled apart the ropes angrily, and lead all crocodiles fighting for their lives and killed the chef and escaped.
This incident breaks the little town, Mei Jia Wu’s quiet and easy life. Xiao Xing and his father Da Wei Wang were all involved.
