In the middle of the cemetery a corpse, of a young woman from the strip club Studio Six, is found. It turns out that a senior politician has visited the Studio Six in the evening and he is soon suspected of the murder. The case brings up memories of the crime reporter Annika Bengtzon, from a past she'd rather forget. She becomes obsessed with revealing the young girl's killer while she slowly sinking even deeper in the Stockholm underworld.
