Talaash follows inspector Surjan Singh Shekhawat (Aamir Khan), who is tackling the accidental death of a film star Armaan Kapoor (Vivan Bhatena). Meanwhile, his personal life suffers as he reels under the repercussions of an almost-broken marriage with Roshni (Rani Mukerji), and comes face-to-face with his suppressed grief of losing his only child.
