Greg Focker is head over heels in love with his girlfriend Pam, and is ready to pop the big question. Greg realizes the key to Pam's hand in marriage lies with her formidable father, Jack Byrnes. A trip to New York for her sister's wedding seems just the right occasion for Greg to ask Pam to be his wife. But everything that could possibly go wrong, does. Upon his arrival at the family's picturesque home, Greg is greeted by what appears to be the picture-perfect family. But for a guy who usually resorts to dry wit in stressful situations, Greg is suddenly shooting blanks with Jack, a retired horticulturist–and rather imposing figure. Masha, meanwhile, like millions of other girls on the ears in love with a famous singer Prince Alexei. She – his most devoted fan, alas, without the slightest chance to get acquainted with the subject of their girlish dreams. And it must be the same to happen – "noble" family receives an invitation to a ball, or rather, private party, which will meet all of the cultural elite of the country, and most importantly – there will be the OH! And it is clear that from this moment Mary is ready for any sacrifice to be there, too. But how? To help our Cinderella, of course, comes the fairy godmother in the person's aunt Agnes, editor of the publication "Yellow PRESS». She is ready to get to a "poor cousin" coveted invitation, but with one condition: Maria go to a party with a difficult and rather pungent journalistic assignment…
In this match with a known fairy tale does not end there: the King will be here and it is oligarchic type, and the Prince, surrounded by an entire cage of today's "stars" of show business, and a chiming clock, and even a "glass slipper", played by… There is, perhaps, let it remain until the mystery.
The audience can only be happy to follow the ups and downs of the old as the hills, but sooo modern history and hope for a happy ending, of course, if we have time to sort out Cinderella time that this "prince" – not the one she fantasized himself.
