Having stuck around for ten years, Alan Tam and Hacken Lee plan to do more as a duo than just singing. Bringing audiences laughter, memories and secrets, their 10th anniversary tour opened in Hong Kong to great reception and drew its curtains in Beijing. Performing a stand-up section penned by famous comedian Dayo Wong, the pair donned a black gold and silver look to make fun of the showbiz as well as the city's hot current affairs in their Alan & Hacken Live 2013 concert.

An engineer arrives at a town to fix their air conditioner, comes up against a wall of beaurocracy and things that don't work and soon finds he cannot leave. Marcus Wright (Daniel Dambroff) is in love with Gabby (Elise McNamara). A devastating accident nearly kills her and renders her in a vegetative state. She can no longer walk or talk. Marcus is determined to make good on his promise to marry her, but he is not only challenged by this unfortunate event but made to jump many unexpected hurdles, including fending off Gabby's mother Sandra (Aria Mckenna), who clings to Marcus and takes her relationship with him beyond both of their boundaries. Marcus then meets Elliot Thurston (Christopher Clawson), a published author who wrote the novel "Brilliant Mistakes," a story about the author's personal regret. Marcus is a big fan of Elliot's positive energy and subsequently his writing, and a bond of common loss, dreams and goals ties them together. While Elliot brings color and life to Marcus' seemingly uncertain future, something is wrong and Marcus'trust in others is yet again weakened. Brilliant Mistakes' hopeful and inspirational ending will undoubtedly leave audiences feeling like their hearts can't quite fit in their chests.

Inaba Rika (Aragaki Yui) is a director at Teito TV Network. Ever since her childhood it was been her dream to be a reporter. Yet she frequently causes troubles due to her aggressive interviewing style and eventually gets transferred against her will to be the co-director of an evening information programme. She is put in charge of a special feature on uniformed personnel and ordered to interview the Self Defence Forces. First Lieutenant Sorai Daisuke (Ayano Go) became a fighter pilot but injured his foot in an accident and got assigned to a department which he was unprepared for, the Air Staff Office’s Public Relations Department. Ever since the accident, he has never once shown his feelings. However, Daisuke’s superior Sagisaka (Shibata Kohei) saw through his “benign, mild” facade and placed Rika in his care even though the people around him said he was still not ready for it. It chafes at Rika to have her dream destroyed and she psyches herself for a comeback as a reporter by getting a scoop. With that in mind, she is constantly provocative in her speech and conduct towards the members of the Public Relations Department, especially Daisuke.
