Unlike the book, this film is about the life and work of the cosmologist, Stephen Hawking. Despite his near total paralysis, he was able to develop theories on par with ones from great minds such as Newton and Einstein. Clips of Hawking's lectures, interviews with friends and family and a little physics are thrown together in this anecdotal biography.
