Dennis Law (The Shopaholics) tackles fatherly love and righteousness in his latest police movie The Constable led by Simon Yam. A long-time vehicle commander in the police force, Lam Kwok Kuen (Simon Yam) raises a mentally challenged son by himself and is near his retirement days. Despite his age, he shows even more speed and guts than the frontliners he works with in each mission, putting his life on the line in various cases just for the sake of upholding the law. Johnnie To regulars Lam Suet, Eddie Cheung, Lo Hoi Pang and Maggie Sui also appear in the film.
