Hong Kong comedy icon Stephen Chiau stars in this wild and wooly parody of 007 spy thrillers. Ling Ling-chat (Chiau) leads a double life, living both as a modest street vendor in Beijing and a suave international spy. When a priceless dinosaur skull is swiped from China, a rogue criminal known only as "The Man With the Golden Gun" is the prime suspect. Ling is called away from dispensing pork products and sent to Hong Kong to investigate. There, a paid assassin named Siu-kam (Anita Yuen) has Ling in her sites. Yet Ling's utter stupidity and dumb luck makes him seeming invincible and she switches sides. When the duo return to China, Ling realizes that his real enemy is none other than his boss.

King of Comedy is a 1999 Hong Kong comedy film directed by Lee Lik-Chi and Stephen Chow. Unlike Stephen Chow's typical mo lei tau films, King of Comedy verges on comedy drama, describing the trials and tribulation that an aspiring actor experiences on his way to stardom. Some commentators[who?] say the story is based on Stephen Chow's early career, as he started off as a temporary actor, before becoming a successful and popular comedy actor over the course of a decade. The film does retain some of bizarre visual gags Chow is known for, such as Chow's character bleeding from the nose and eyes during a singing number.

The Lucky Guy / Hung wan yat tew loong (1998)

The Lucky Restaurant is known throughout HK for its egg tarts. The owner Mr. Li (Ng Man-Tat) is faced with a big rent increase. Combined with a lack of customers, he is seriously considering closing up shop. The other themes in the movie involve two of the waiters, Sui (Stephen Chow) and Fook (Eric Kot). Sui, better known as the Prince of Egg Tarts, is a ladies man. He one day encounters his match, his first love Candy, from high school (Sammi Cheng), now a registered nurse. Fook is a foolish looking character but with a heart of gold who meets up with his first love Fanny (Kristy Yang), who works at a Tae Kwon Do facility. Mr. Li's son Nam (Daniel Chan) is a photographer for a gossip magazine, a big Chiba Maruko and Siu San (two Japanese cartoon characters) fan, who meets up with Fon Fon (Hsu Chi), the daughter of a real estate tycoon. Of course the movie goes back and forth between joy and heartbreak, success and failure. What will happen to all these relationships? What will happen to the restaurant?
