Yuta lives in an orphanage believing his mother is going to pick him up. After learning about where his mother is, he escapes from the orphanage to find her. After finding her he learns that she's been living with a man and no longer wants him around. In his dispair he meets a homeless man, Sakamoto, and Shiori, a high school girl that grew up in a wealthy family but now has no place at school or home.
