Photographer Jacky encounters a woman in red on the street and he is instantly drawn to her. Soon after, he gets embroiled in a murder case due to an antique orb he was asked to take pictures of. Cherie helps save him, but she gets killed by an assassin. Lost and distraught, Jacky runs off to America. In San Francisco, he meets another woman named Jacqueline who looks exactly like Cherie.
