Sean is down in the dumps and distrusting of love after getting cheated on by his last girlfriend. Then one day, a strange girl comes storming into his life. Vivacious tattoo artist Emily seems to always be full of energy and ideas, and Sean can't help getting swept away by her lovable and unpredictable personality. After they start dating, Emily confides to Sean that she is actually a 'nail clipper monster.' Since a young age, she has lived on a diet of nail clippers, and her dream is to open a nail clipper restaurant for all the other people like her.
