Miss Giddens, a sensitive and sheltered vicar's daughter, is put in charge of educating and supervising two presumably angelic orphans, Flora and Miles, at the secluded country estate of Bly. When the ghosts of their former caregiver and her sadistic lover Peter Quint manifest themselves to the new governess, she determines to save her charges from their supernatural evil, but just who is corrupting whom? Adapted from the novella The Turn of the Screw by Henry James.
