Guillaume has made it: A machine that can clean dirty air by simply sucking all dirt into air balloons and then shipping them far far away so his explanation. Some Japanese business guys, after dinner with a lot of alcohol, order 5,000 pieces. His only problem: His production capacity is way to small so he gets to produce the machines in his private house. His wife Bernadette is far from being happy about it. Her private life goes down the line so she decides to leave Guillaume and to finally have revenge she candidates for major against her husband.

Charles Bosquier, a role apparently written for French comedy superstar Louis de Funès, is the dictatorial headmaster of a French strict boarding school. No father could be deeper shocked to find one of his own sons miserably failed his exams, and too embarrassed to enroll him for his own summer-school, so he sends Philippe to England as exchange student. Philippe planned to save his sailing plans with friends by sending fat nerd Stephane Michonnet to England using his name, which comes out when Michonnet gets indigestion. Meanwhile Charles expects his spoiled favorite son, Gérard, who tells daddy about all the other schoolboys for money, to chaperon Shirley, the daughter of his English counterpart MacFarrell, but the girl gets all French boys horny, so even his perfect record is soon gravely soiled as dad spies on them, and he and Shirley join Philippe and his friends. Now the headmaster chases the kids' yacht -incognito, to avoid a scandal- all the way to England, where his colleague soon joins him, and further…

One morning, a wealthy business man Bertrand Barnier receives a visit from one of his employees, Christian Martin, who demands both his daughter’s hand in marriage and a substantial pay rise. When Barnier refuses, Christian reveals that he has embezzled a small fortune from the company’s funds, with which he has bought a suitcase full of jewels. When Christian offers to hand over the suitcase, Barnier agrees to the marriage, without realising that Martin’s girlfriend is not really his daughter at all, but a poor girl who is just pretending that Barnier is her father. Before he discovers the truth, Barnier learns that his real daughter is pregnant, by his ex-chauffeur Oscar who has just set off for a polar expedition. Eager to avoid a scandal, Barnier attempts to bribe Christian into marrying his real daughter…
