Yoshio Shiraiwa is dumped by his wife and goes back to his hometown of Hakodate. He then enrolls at a vocational school, while receiving unemployment payments. At the vocational school, he meets Kazuhisa Daishima. One day, Kazuhisa Daishima takes him to a cabaret. There, Yoshio Shiraiwa meets a hostess, Satoshi Tamura. She possesses something different from other people. Satoshi Tamura and Yoshio Shiraiwa become close.
