In the early 80s, leaving a promising career as a lawyer, Pierre Durand devoted himself body and soul to his passion, jumping. Supported by his father, it is all about a young horse that nobody really believes: Jappeloup. Too small, too temperamental, too unpredictable, it has many flaws, but a relaxing and remarkable abilities. Competition in competition, the duo grew and needed in the world of riding. But the Los Angeles Olympic Games were a terrible failure and Pierre then becomes aware of his weaknesses. With the help of Nadia, his wife, and Raphaelle, the groom the horse, Pierre will regain the confidence of Jappeloup and build a relationship that will lead to the Seoul Olympics in 1988.
