Possessing unique martial arts skills since childhood, Ma Yongzhen (Philip Ng) travels from his hometown to Shanghai to seek a livelihood. There he meets rising overlord Lung Chat (Andy On). The two youth who both possess a dream quickly befriend each other and they become brothers after going through difficulties together. Since then, the two brothers have worked hard together, defeating numerous enemies, and took down the largest triad gang the Axe Gang in one swoop, which makes them renown throughout Shanghai. At the same time, Ma also got help from retired kung fu master, the Iron Leader (Sammo Hung), to fight their common enemy.
