Crooked cop Gao just lost his mother and he is under internal investigation at work. While rushing to his mother's funeral, he accidentally runs over a man on a remote road. In a moment of desperation, Gao hides the body in his trunk, and then his own mother's coffin. A few days later, he is shocked to come across the victim's profile in an ongoing case that may eventually lead back to him and his cover-up. Before Gao can figure out what's going on, another mysterious cop suddenly appears to blackmail him – and demand the return of the body.
