Les Aventures d'Anthony / A Journey, Through Time, with Anthony / Pei an dong ni du guo man chang sui yue (2015)

You never know what you have until it's gone. Anthony is about to leave Dalian, the only place he's known and lived since he was born, to study for a business degree in Melbourne. His best friend and soulmate Ying is about to leave too, to Japan to study sound design. In his new environment, Anthony meets a bunch of energetic new friends and a landlady who loves to paint. The youngsters have all travelled far to chase their dreams, and Anthony decides to start a blog to document his experiences. Despite being oceans apart from Ying, Anthony wants to share every moment with the girl he grew up with, and wonders if that's what constitutes "love". Whenever he has a free moment, he records sounds from the environment, or animals he encounters to send to Ying, keeping in touch in their own special way.

Maki Iizuka (Nozomi Sasaki) works as an editor for a wedding magazine in Tokyo. She is set to marry Kazunori Nakamura (Yuta Hiraoka) next month, when her grandmother dies. Her grandmother was like a mom to Maki. While Maki arranges items left by her grandmother, she discovers a box made from empress tree. The box contains a white bridal Kimono and marriage registration forms. The marriage registration forms are mostly empty, except for the name "Soichi Akiguni" filled into a blank. Maki becomes curious about Soichi Akiguni and decides to go to her hometown Izumo in Shimane Prefecture. There, she meets a young fisherman.
