Due to the economic recession, the orchestra is shut down. The members hear later that the orchestra will be reformed. Only some of the members, who have not yet been rehired, gather for the orchestra. For the first time since they disbanded the orchestra plays together, but they sound horrible. At that time, the conductor Tetsusaburo Tendou (Toshiyuki Nishida) appears in front of them. The orchestra members are not familiar with Tetsusaburo Tendou's background or career. At first, the members of the orchestra are resistant to Tetsusaburo Tendou. They change though as they are brought into Tetsusaburo Tendou's unprecedented world of music. Except for the concertmaster Shinichi Kousaka (Tori Matsuzaka), the members of the orchestra, who all have their own wounds and frustrations, recover their confidence.

Lucky Numbers (2000)

Russ Richards, a weatherman on a local TV station in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, sells snowmobiles on the side, but both careers are in a rut thanks to an unusually warm winter. Russ's girlfriend Crystal appears on the State Lottery's weekly televised drawing, pulling the numbered balls out of the rotating bin. With the help of a few of his less scrupulous friends – among them sleazy strip joint proprietor Gig, small time hood Dale The Thug, and Crystal's sleazy cousin Walter – Russ figures out a way to rig the drawing and have Crystal pull numbers that they happen to own. However, Russ discovers that making the scheme work and keeping everyone quiet about it is more trouble than it's worth.

The Wonderful Musical Adventure Things are looking up for the woodcutter's lad named tom thumb. Of course, when you're a mere 5 1/2 inches tall, that's the only way things can look. The tiny hero overcomes hard luck and huge obstacles while saving his parents from harm in this beloved Best Special Effects Academy Award winner based on the brothers Grimm tale and produced and directed by trailblazing effects moviemaker George Pal. Russ Tamblyn plays the title role, bringing athletic enthusiasm to an imaginative story in which toys spring to life (but only for Tom!) and unoccupied shoes happily cavort. Peggy Lee composes two of the five songs. And Terry-Thomas and Peter Sellers provide gleeful villainy. Good things do indeed come in small packages.
